Ray Arceneaux, MBA
Founder/CEO Living with Type 1 Diabetes
Ray, a native of Nashville and a proud father of two sons, is driven by his personal experience of managing Type 1 diabetes.
Ray is a software developer who acquired coding skills attending a one-year bootcamp.
As a student during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, Ray created the concept of the A1C Plan platform.
With a strong passion for helping individuals affected by diabetes, Ray started his efforts by supporting the black community.
Black families are disproportionate impacted by the disease, resulting in significant disparities in health outcomes.
In addition to these challenges, a majority of black households face difficulties in affording life insurance because the presence of diabetes and/or chronic diseases results in higher premiums.
Life insurance is a valuable tool for building wealth and transferring it in the form of inheritance to loved ones tax-free.
During his college years, Ray worked as a banker, where he witnessed the challenges families faced due to medical expenses, death, and the lack of life insurance.
This firsthand experience fuels Ray's dedication to improving the health of those with diabetes.
Ray is an advocate for introducing technology to the youth by speaking at events and personally conducting coding workshops in several schools in Nashville.
He holds an MBA and BBA in Finance from the Jennings A. Jones College of Business at Middle Tennessee State University.
